How we teach

Communicative, structured, individual – and always aligned with your goals.

Core principle

Our teaching is based on Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT): you don't learn German to solve exercises, but to accomplish real tasks – give a presentation, conduct a job interview, handle a media appearance.

Grammar isn't taught in isolation but developed in context and applied immediately. You speak German from the very first lesson.

Process

Needs analysis

Where do you stand? What do you need? In which situations do you need to use German? In an initial conversation, we assess your starting point and goals.

Learning plan

Based on the analysis, we create a curriculum aligned with your goals – not with a textbook chapter.

Lessons

Each session follows a clear structure: activation, new input in context, practical application, realistic task, feedback.

Progress

Every 5–10 hours, we review your development and adjust the learning plan. You always know where you stand.

Materials

We don't work with a standard textbook. Instead, we curate materials that fit your context: authentic texts, industry-specific vocabulary, audio and video material that's actually relevant. Every lesson builds on what you actually need.

Teachers

All teachers have an academic background (at least Master's degree) in German studies, German as a Foreign Language or linguistics. At least 5 years of private tutoring experience. We select your teacher specifically based on your requirements – professionally and personally. The fit has to be right, or we make a change.
